Brainspotting

“What’s in the brain is in the body, and what’s in the body is in the brain”

We will explore places in your body where you store trauma and have blocks. Brainspotting utilises the brain’s own ability to heal and process trauma through anchoring on gaze spots and having a therapist attune to your own nervous system. This method is beneficial for people who want to address trauma, anxiety, depression, overcome a creative/performance block (in art, sports, business, etc), or to perform/function better and go beyond talk therapy.

Brain spotting steps away from the cognitive, thinking brain to dive deeper into things you can’t necessarily rationalise or talk through. Your body will do whatever it needs to do in order to heal itself and process the trauma. The ultimate goal is for your mind/body to reduce the activation that is happening in regards to what you want to overcome and process.
